Negotiations between federal and Sindh government representatives and goods transporters reached no breakthrough, leaving the status of the dispute unchanged. The All Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance announced that the ongoing strike would proceed. At a press conference, Alliance president Malik Shehzad Awan stated that the talks had not produced any concrete progress on the transporters’ demands. He emphasized that written, implementable commitments were required, not only verbal assurances. The Alliance warned that the protest would continue until the demands were formally accepted, describing the situation as entering a decisive phase. They pledged to maintain a peaceful struggle to secure legitimate rights. Following the strike call, transporters at Port Qasim parked their vehicles on Monday, disrupting goods movement and port operations.
