Pakistan all‑rounder Khushdil Shah said his commitment to Pakistan cricket is unchanged, calling rumours of his exit "fake" and "completely untrue." He posted the clarification on Instagram after comments from teammate Abbas Afridi were shared online. In a two‑month‑old interview, Abbas Afridi claimed Khushdil had mentioned a four‑month window before he would have to leave Pakistan if not selected by the national team. Those remarks were misinterpreted as an indication Khushdil was planning to quit. Khushdil, 31, made his international debut in November 2019. Since then he has played 15 One‑Day Internationals (ODIs) and 38 Twenty‑20 Internationals (T20Is) for Pakistan.
