Gen. Jack Keane, a U.S. military general, said he is uncertain whether Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar can be trusted in talks about Iran. The general cited Trump’s Gaza peace deal, calling it a "huge step forward" in a Fox News report. He added that the Trump administration does not use Pakistan as an intermediary in Iran negotiations, although Islamabad continues to try its own tactics. Keane warned that Iran peace talks face obstacles as President Trump weighs his options.
