Investigators are studying the murder of Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf leader Abdullah Tahir. They say his driver, Asghar, was honey‑trapped by a woman who creates content for social media. The woman had contact with the driver on TikTok about two months before the attack and gradually learned his daily movements. On the day Tahir was attacked at a clinic, the woman allegedly held a video call with the driver to confirm he was present and that no guard was nearby. Gunmen who had waited on Gurumangat Road then entered the clinic and opened fire, killing Tahir. Investigators also report that the attackers used a drone camera and other technology to monitor Tahir and assess his security beforehand. Links between the woman, the shooters, and the planners are under investigation, with digital evidence and phone records being examined.
