Mir Hussain Ali Accuses Police of Neglecting Murder Investigation into Son Mir Raza Ali’s Death.

Mir Hussain Ali is unhappy with the police investigation into the death of his son, Mir Raza Ali, an owner of the streaming platform Wafflix. He says the police are concentrating on unrelated aspects of the case instead of treating it as a murder. The father said that in the past ten days, attempts had been made to distort facts and damage his son’s reputation. He asked, "Why is no investigation being conducted into my son’s murder? Who is being protected?" He also said that authorities did not seek full details about his son from the family or properly investigate the circumstances of the death. Mir Hussain Ali rejected the police theory that financial or business stress caused the death. He questioned why Mir Raza’s business partner Ahmed and elder brother Abdullah, who handle finances, were not feeling similar pressure. He criticized the post‑mortem process, saying state authorities and police should have been present at Jinnah Hospital and that the medicolegal officer, Dr. Osama Sheikh, did not share findings with senior officials. He said important details were missing from the post‑mortem report. He claimed that the report described a bullet entry from the front, while his son was shot from behind. He also noted that no blood was found at the place where his son’s body was recovered, even though the injury was a fatal gunshot. IG Sindh Police Javed Alam Odho said the police would soon present all facts of the case. He added that the future direction of the investigation would depend on the findings of the medical board. Speaking to reporters at City Courts, Mir Hussain said investigators had fully traced the case after extensive efforts.
