Mir Raza, 25, son of Mir Hassan Ali Khan and owner of the Wafflix business, was laid to rest in the Rehorania Masjid graveyard on 29 July. Eleven days later, a board of doctors, a police surgeon, a magistrate and family members gathered over the site and reopened the grave.
The report released by the medical team states that Mir Raza did not simply die; he was taken from the family. When asked whether his wounds appeared before death, the report shows a single word circled on the page: *Yes*.
The investigation is ongoing and the police probe into his death continues. The final statement on the manner of his death has not yet been issued publicly, although the evidence suggests that the wounds preceded the fatal event.
Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed, a member of the board that re‑examined the body, emphasized the importance of the careful handling and the insistence on treating the body with dignity. She is one of the few officials tasked with providing an honest witness to the facts surrounding Mir Raza’s death.
