Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Riyadh, Tracing Pakistan’s Diplomatic Ties with Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on Thursday at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman. He traveled with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, and other senior ministers. The delegation emphasised Pakistan’s commitment to consultation with Riyadh amid heightened regional tensions. Saudi officials welcomed the delegation, including Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mashal bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Agriculture, Water and Environment Engineer Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al Fadhli. The prime minister is set to meet the Crown Prince to strengthen long‑standing brotherly relations and examine regional developments. During his stay, he will perform Umrah and visit the Mosque of the Prophet in Medina. According to the Foreign Office, discussions will focus on strengthening ties and reviewing Gulf tensions as part of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.
