PTI has decided to stage a long march to Islamabad on September 27. The decision followed mutual consultations between PTI and allied parties. The Khyber‑Pakhtunkhwa Information and Public Relations Minister Shafi Jan said. PTI also is contacting religious parties and other political forces for the event. Shafi Jan said the march will not be a single day but could last several days. Preparations are underway, with all necessary arrangements being made. PTI claims it pursued constitutional and legal routes to secure the rights of founder chairman Imran Khan. Those rights were blocked, leaving the march as the only option. The movement is planned nationwide. PTI is reaching out to Punjab and other provinces and is launching seminars at universities. Youth are expected to lead the march, and public participation may run into the millions. PTI keeps its doors open to other opposition parties. It suggests that parties wishing to leave the current federal government should resign from their constitutionally appointed offices and join the opposition. Shafi Jan said those who "looted the people's mandate" will be held accountable before the "court of the people." PTI stresses that its struggle for the restoration of the public mandate, the supremacy of the constitution and the release of Imran Khan will continue peacefully.
