Rs6.55m stolen in armed robbery at Edhi Centre in Sohrab Goth prompts police investigation.

On Saturday, four armed robbers entered the Edhi Centre in Sohrab Goth at about 4 pm and stole more than Rs6 549 597 in cash. The robbery was reported by Edhi Centre employee Mazhar Abbas, who filed a First Information Report at Samanabad Police Station. Two motorcycles carried the suspects to the centre; three entered the building while the fourth stayed outside to watch. Police have registered a case and are investigating the crime. Investigators are collecting evidence that may identify the robbers and trace the motorcycles used. They are also examining other leads and evidence related to the robbery.
