Pakistan Stock Exchange falls 450 points by midday amid profit‑taking and higher oil prices.
By 12 p.m. on Friday the KSE‑100 Index was down 450.05 points, or 0.25%, after a 771‑point slide early in the session. Trading volume reached 146.05 million shares with a value of Rs10.06 billion as investors reacted to rising crude prices and Strait of Hormuz concerns.
